    What are you reading right now?

    I'm currently reading Tinkers by Paul Harding. It's not the best thing i've ever read, but i'm enjoying it. It is beautifully written, but it's kind of a sad story so it's taking me a while to get through.

    Single best piece of advice for a newbies soaper?

    Wow, thanks for all the incredible advice! I have to admit, i've been super excited to try out all the exciting and exotic fragrances out there, but i think i will take it slow and just start out with some basics while i figure all this out.

    question about selling melt and pour

    There are a lot of things that are considered "hand crafted" at farmers markets that aren't made entirely from scratch. People buy pre made flowers and attach them to bows and headbands. People make clothing out of pre-made fabrics. Etc, etc. I know everyone has their own opinions about it, but...

    What are your favorite blends?

    I love the awakening feeling i get from citrus cents, so i like to blend a few like orange, grapefruit and tangerine then add a hint of vanilla to mellow it out a bit.

    Cold/flu remedies

    Cayenne pepper, raw honey and green tea. And a bubble bath with sea salt and essential oils certainly never hurts. :) Hope you get feeling better soon.

    My name is Nina and I just barely learned how to make soap. I made my first batch last week with the help of my friend who is an experienced soap maker. I'm so excited and trying to soak up as much info as i can.
