    Lining molds

    No, i dont have a problem with getting soap out. I have dismantling mold When i unscrew two nuts i remove sides and soap is lying only on bottom piece of wood. Then i take flat piece of metal and scrape it off. Yesterday i unmolded maybe 6 hours after pouring without problems.

    I have wooden mold and im on 6th batch, wood looks ok with a discoloration but generally i dont see a problem for now.

    I dont know... talked to some older people how soaps were made and stuff they put into it together with some rough ballpark "measurements" surly created some wild soaps :D Here is one soap from a soaping blog i found. It seems its about 30 years old, they head to cut it with saw for metal...

    I have done that and before saponification was 724g and after unmolding was 670g. Thats about 7.5% loss

    Water loss will always be relatively same no meter what the water discount. Im doing calculator for weight and price of batch or individual soap. Its going like ((lye weight+water weight+EO weight+oil weight)-10%)/100g=number of bars

    Yes, one good deed every day :D . Youre true about oils: www.ineosstyrenics.net/media/pdf/tech-d ... stance.pdf Ive got PS cups fox mixing soaps. They are clear, like material for cd cases. Now Ive gonna wash them good and give them to my mother when i found some HDPE cups.
