    Sugar scrubs

Hemp seed oil and any EO that you like. Add sugar until it's thick. Washes off really well. Can use a bit of castor if you like. Oh, you may need to add an antioxidant such as Vit E as Hemp oil is a bit unstable.

    What was the. . .

Mine was a rebatched layered soap that I called Summer Citrus. I don't think it's ever going to harden up though!! Think I added to much extra oil to the mix. Smells yummy though...

Do you store your cured soaps wrapped or unwrapped?

So, with MP, what do you wrap it in? Plastic or paper? I just put a sort of wrap around label on my CP, it's not covered completely. But I keep it in a cupboard away from dust etc until I want to use it. At the moment, it's only for gifts.

    EO and FO questions

As far as I can gather, it's up to you what you choose to do!! The only thing that can be tricky is that some blends will trace really quickly. Keep good notes of your blends and the results.

    Coffee

I like a cup of tea in the morning, but always make myself a cup of real percolated coffee for morning tea. Can't stand instant coffee, which most Aussies seem to drink.

    Soap Burns

I'm no expert, but I'd say it's because soap is alkaline by nature. The alkalinity affects your skin. The skin on your face may be extra sensitive to alkaline substances. And, just like acidic products, alkaline products will also hurt if you apply them to broken skin.

    Liquid soap

I had a go with my semi castille base. Just grated it and threw it in a bottle with lavender hydrosol. Well, I've got goo, slime, what ever you like to call it. Really looks and feels disgusting!!! I'll try your method next time stephie!

I'd like to know how to make it too as a lot of the bases have surfactants and extra things that I don't want in my soap...
