I'm not sure this is the right place for this thread ... For Christmas our family does a gift exchange and everything has to be either re-gifted item, something you got for free or a hand made item. You can not spend more than $5 and that can only be to enhance your gift. i.e. a frame for a...

    Leave in conditioner recipe question

I stopped putting relaxers in my hair and have been using a flat iron to straighten it or just wearing it natural (afro). Unfortunately I don't have an elongated defined S curl or wave pattern when my hair dries. It's just tight and shrivels about 50% or more of its true length and is plain...

I found about a gallon or more of Palm Oil. I haven't purchased any since I moved into my current home which means it has to be at least 3 years old. So, can I still use it. I smelled it and it smelled fine to me, but, I don't know what it's SUPPOSED to smell like LOL and I have a head cold...

    Whipped Soap

I decided to try whipped soap so I made a small 2 pound batch and put it in my silicone loaf pan. I was a little aprehensive with this concept of whipping it in the mixer but after trying it I will do it again. The key is being careful ... as with any soap making process. This is white tea...
