    Sweet Cakes - YUM!

Oh my gosh, I can so relate! It doesn't matter what scent I shove under my husband's nose and ask, "what does this smell like?", his reply is always the same, "smells like soap!" gah!!

    Scents questions for those established

I started out just making scents in whatever I liked. If I really liked the scent or it was well liked by others I would make multiple products in the same scent. Some fragrance oils don't work well in CP. So I have a Pink Sugar body butter, bath bomb and M&P soap, but I don't have it in CP...

    Never in my life

I started by watching Anne Marie's videos at http://www.youtube.com/user/soapqueentv and then watched them again and took notes. I read forums and books and everything I could get my hands on. Ask questions!

    did anyone else know this?

I too thought they were from the ocean! I never imagined they were something you could grow in your own back yard. How interesting!

An answer to 'the LUSH question'

I first discovered Lush when I lived out of the country and was so excited when I found one 3 hours away after I moved back to the States. I used to spend tons of money in there until I started making my own products. The one thing I still purchase, on the rare occasion, are Karma bubble bars...

To wrap or not to wrap?

CP should not be wrapped because it continues to cure. If you wrap it do so right before the market/show, etc. I store mine in shoe boxes after the 6 weeks with air vents.

This might be a silly question...

Which FO did you use? I am wondering because this same thing happened to me a few weeks ago. I was using a log mold though. Mine too looked like applesauce so I glopped it into the mold and hoped for the best. The next day it leaked oil.

    Naming products, is this legal?

I had the same idea too and had been collecting song titles for months thinking I would use them one day, then I realized it was probably not legal so I have come up with my own names. That part has been fun though...sniffing a soap with my eyes closed and trying to figure out its name. ;)

    soap stamps

I've tried to do a search, but all I can find is that he is on Etsy and when I search for BeBe on Etsy there are dozens of hits. So is there a URL anyone can share? Thanks! :)

    colored suds :(

I made a soap recently with no coloring, it browned naturally due to the colorant and it gave me colored suds too.
