No, it didn't gel. I soaped at room temp and I didn't use any FOs, EOs, or color. It's a traditional Castile soap. I tried running hot water on the outside and that didn't seem to help getting it out of the mold. Is it normal for soap to zap so strongly 48 hours after it's been poured?

Does this discoloration happen with just the soaps that have been colored, or does it also occur in soaps that have been made without pigments or micas? (Thanks for the response BTW)

I'm using soap calc to do a recipe for Castile soap with 100% OO. Someone please tell me what the "Water as percentage of oils" is... What is Lye concentration? Water: Lye ratio? Also, my mold will hold 80 oz. Do I just play with the numbers where it asks for weight of oils until...

I have all my goodies to make Castile soap. My mold is a 3" PVC pipe that holds 5lbs of liquid (80 oz). To make a 100% OO Castile soap, I can't figure out how to get the soapcalc to tell me how much water to use and how much lye to use with a super fat of 10%. Please HELP!
