    Sodium Lactate

    HI All, I am new to soap making but becoming mildly obsessed with it. I have been using Sodium Lactate in my cold pressed soaps. I have access to Compound Sodium Lactate ( Hartmanns Solution ) from my Equine Vet, can I use that as well or is it different. Has any one else tried it? Thanks
