i've made herbal infusions with lemon balm and other herbs before and it works great! i put the herbs and whatever oil i'm using (usually olive) in a crockpot and put it on low all day. then i let it sit over night, strain out the herbs, and rebottle the oil.

I ordered from OT for the first time a few weeks ago and have noticed a strong alcohol odor in the FO's. has anyone else noticed this? Specifically, the Green Apple & Sandalwood were strong.

I have the Bladderwrack and Karma EO blends and they're both fabulous. The Karma is supposed to smell like Lush's Karma fragrance and it doesn't really--I add tangerine eo to the soap to make it smell closer!

I buy my soap bases from Peak Candle and have never had a problem with them being too soft. I always add some extra castor oil and vitamin e and still haven't found softness to be an issue. Are the bases really firm when you receive them? hellocrafty
