    Hi, An update from my trial, the 3 hours high heat with crockpot is working fine on my OO & CO oils formulation. When dilute the soap paste is golden clear liquid - no cloudy. Next will try on cold process.. thank you for all the informative advise, as im a new learner in this soap forum.

    Thank you for the quick respond, i will let my batch to sit in next 24 hours before diluting.. and will try new recipe as you suggested. Its very challengin to formulate OO LS for beginner like me. Have a great day and stay safe.

    Hi, I just found this forum, and found many informative topics. I also have the same problem, didn't get translucent paste as I finished my liquid soap ( Olive 70%, Coconut 30%, Superfat 3%, 30% Lye solution) Logicaly make sense to me if we add superfats it will contribute cloudy liquid...

    Hi All, Wondering if we can make thicker LS (not very thin) high % coconut oil soap (>60%) by using combination of NaOH and KOH? Can we at least make honey consistency ? Even though the oleic acid content is low with high % coconut oil based - soap.

    thickening 100% coconut oil liquid soap with HPMC

    Hi Zany, Thank you for this feedback, I also have the same challenge on thickening my coconut oil soap. I have 80% coconut oil in my liquid soap use for body shower. How to thicken it? I tried using NaCl and xantham gum.. both unable to thicken, I'm not sure whether my thickening method is...
