    Percentage of colored soap

    My first batch was uncoloured. Plain soaps I've made are dish soap and gardener's soap (single colour). The rest are "artsy". I like trying new techniques and I love colour. I'm more likely to to have no scent than I am to have less than 2 colours.

    Not to enable or anything, but you may want to look at New Directions Aromatics - Canada's Leading Supplier of Essential Oils . I find that I can get some better prices there. However, beware! They also have ALOT and your shopping cart may end up even higher.

    I started playing with sourdough in the last few months. I think the fact that I live at sea level (well 54 ft above) and less than a mile from the ocean is messing with my attempts. But I am persistent and I am close!

    There will come a time in the future when you may want to make "art" yarn and wish you could do the uneven spinning again. It takes a bit of unlearning once you get there. ;)
