I did and I was trying different brands and quality of olive oil and it only happened to the one I used the best EVOO... well my little experiment kinda worked as i know what oil to stick to... the cheapest Spanish mellow olive oil had the best result:) I just don’t know if it’s safe to use...

I have less soda ash i use a water discount... or it worked on a recipe I retried after getting heaps of ash, made the next batch with 15% water discount and it didn’t happen. It could have been a fluke though :)

i use this recipe too and sometimes swap out the cocoa butter for Shea butter my percentages are a bit different too but not much .Both ways have a really nice lather
