Does anyone know what oils can be subbed for Emu. I use to use Emu oil a lot in different things but it has become so expensive. I have started subbing Meadowfoam oil with pumpkin seed oil. It has done very nice. Any tips on the emu will be very appreciated. Judy

Does anyone know if you can use different types of colorant in the same batch of cp soap. I am using micas to do my swirls and would like to add a black oxide swirl also. I can't remember if I have ever used different types of colorant in my soap before. Thanks for any advise. :D Judy

Ash develops during the first 24 hours after the soap is poured. If you are covering and insulating wait to remove the soap from the mold till the 24 hour has passed and there will be no ash. Judy
