AliOop, I thought I read you use faux sea water with your 60% lard recipe. If not, what are your guidelines for using it? Can use it in all recipes to substitute for distilled water? Thank you, Jan

Do you find your soaps are hard? I'm finding my recipes like this have the soap disappearing in 10 days with 2 people using almost daily. What impact do various lye concentrations have? I just go with soap calc recommendation. I am reducing water more from 22-28

Hi, I saw a course advertised to more deeply understand the Ins and outs of developing soap recipes. I have the basics, but want to really understand and fine tune my recipes. I don't remember where I saw this course online. Do you have recommendations for a course or books?

What is the trick to using silicone molds as far as making sure there are no air bubbles and a smooth flat finish? My first batch with molds and second batch with my own recipe yielded a light, pudding thick consistency that I had to spoon into the molds.
