White flecks that don’t seem to be lye pockets

I zap tested it and I couldn’t feel anything. But it’s bothering me. Help? Here it is. The coconut is the brown part (it wasn’t...

    Soap with 100% canola oil?

Heya everyone!🥰 Just wondering, has anyone made a batch of soap with 100% canola oil? I attempted it on Friday and it’s still in the mold (I just used a milk box) and it’s still soft at the top mostly. Have you tried this? How did it work out for you?

    Gelling coconut milk soap?

Here’s what they look like. They’re quite hard and doing the zap test, it felt fine. (Whack shapes because I used a milk box and cut them up with a knife 😹)

    Gelling coconut milk soap?

Well ig it would be like that if you buy the coconut milk...but my coconut was picked off a tree, grated, mixed with water and squeezed. In my country, coconut milk is boiled to make oil...the first time I tried adding lye to the milk without cooling it, it separated into what I assume was oil...

But when you heat coconut milk, it becomes oil🥺 in my country, we grate coconuts, squeeze the milk and boil it until it separates and forms oil in the bottom and husk at the top☺️ are you 100% sure?🥺 (Please don’t think I’m annoying 🥺 I’m a newbie and I just got here an hour ago and I need some...

    Gelling coconut milk soap?

I’ve recently made a batch of coconut milk shampoo bars using the coconut milk ice cubes to make a lye solution. I wasn’t aware that the gel phase would occur if I left it where the temp was high so it gelled when I didn’t want it to. What I want to know is, will the heat produced in the gel...
