    Everyone give Paul a hug!

Wow, Paul-- if the "Insurance Co." was great then things are going well! That same day when our tornado sirens went off- I thought it was a test! I mean I have lived here in Wi. for 43 years and NEVER have we had about 10 inches of snow on the ground one day- and then tornadoes the next...

    Everyone give Paul a hug!

I have not been a member here long at all, however I can see that you are all pretty "tight" and back each other up. Earlier I had emailed Paul a question about a recipe and found that he (his home) had some damage (mild to moderate) from a couple tornadoes that ripped through his area.. Send a...

Thanks for replies.. I am going to be doing mostly CP, but want to play around with MP.. This SFIC, do they have a minimum purchase? I looked at their website and from reading it looked like you would have to order a lot? Am I wrong on this? Thanks. Mickie

    Cant find old recipe...

An earlier post made me wonder about this.Years back when I started soaping I had come a cross a small recipe 1-2 pnds that I poured into those little rubbermaid drawer organizers. Low cost soap?

Woops-- if we are talking about CP you can`t use cardboard type, or metals... If we are talking about MP, then I would not know! Mickie

    Low cost soap?

PS.. The cheapest and quickest mold you can get is PVC pipe. You have to be creative and make an end out of some sort of other durable plastic. I had cut a perfect circle to fit out of a sturdy plastic dish (rubbermaid) and then taped really well with duct tape.. When I use to make large...

    Low cost soap?

Hi Cara, if you go to Kathy Millers website there are a couple recipes that are super easy and you can get almost every ingredient right from your grocery store.. If I remember correctly there is a oatmeal, milk and honey recipe that fits into a hard plastic tray that you can buy from Walmart...

    Soap company name opinions needed!

Hmmm, it was the "little ol ladies" that would laugh and be the biggest buyers. They would buy for their friends etc.. I did do shows and had the questionable title named ones near me.. I had one woman order 40 for personal gifts. Funny how certain things can fly, and others just sit. Mickie

What to do with my soap scraps, shreads, etc...

Soap Balls.. I always saved my "scraps" in separate bags.. Then would either mix and match them by scents, colors or make individually.. Take a handful and start adding drizzles of water until you form a hard 2 - 3 inch ball...Air dry a few days.. I would then toss them in a basket and sell 3...
