    When I made the powder I used my food processor. I now make the liquid, it seems to last longer & I can add scents. Good luck!

    Mail and Newspaper theft - Need suggestions and advice

    I would first report it then I would set up a game camera to see who it is that is taking your paper/mail. You shouldn't have to have your mail re-routed or anything else. Whomever is doing it needs to be stopped.

    Stick blender recs? Anyone use a drill?

    I have an older Betty Crocker that I picked up at the Goodwill for $3 & another that appears to be brand new that I got for $4 (can't remember the brand). I just pick them up when I see them so I always have a back up. As it stands I haven't burned up the first one yet. LOL.

    containers to mix lye

    I use a plastic pitcher that I set in the sink, once my lye is mixed I fill the sink with cold water & ice to cool it to the desired temp to soap with.

    Removing from Mold

    I use a 3" PVC pipe, I don't line it but do spray the inside with cooking spray, after 24hrs I put it in the freezer for several hours & remove it to sit on the table, when it starts to sweat really good it will slide out. I also don't have a cap so I usually cover with press & seal or wax...

    I actuatlly have a couple of molds that I use but nothing that I am in love with. I want a wooden log mold & will be getting a silicone one soon.....what is wsp?

    What a great idea on the tupperware! I see that all the time in goodwills.....I will have to keep my eyes open until I can afford a log mold.

    what will happen if I wait longer to unmold soap?

    I take mine out the next day as well. I can't seem to wait & I like cutting it when it is softer.

    It seems like their website have a longer time on making & designing stamps when I was looking at it. 30- 45 days or something.....

    I agree with Soapbuddy. I also keep a sheet inside the box that I store my lye in if I have left overs. I also wipe the container I am pouring into to messure. Congrats on your soap!!

    OH ok now I understand, I thought there was something I hadn't learned yet. Just a side note the bar being soft would make it easier to grate. Let us know how it works out for you!!

    I don't have any answers but as a newbie, why would you melt down ivory in place of making CP or HP soap?
