    Does anyone have a local source for regular sesame oil in the SF Bay area? Whole foods has the smaller bottles, but I was looking for larger sizes. Most of the asian markets seem to have the toasted in large quantity, but I am looking for the regular sesame. Or if anyone has a online...

    Rice Bran Oil in the SF Bay Area

    Yesterday, DH and I drove out to http://www.californiariceoil.com/orderdesk.htm and got 2 gallons of RBO. The owner was very friendly. I know he will sell in 35# cubes, I didn't get a quote, but it might be something for peeps in the Bay Area to consider if you are looking for RBO in the area.

    Used my new laundry soap this weekend

    It was 70% lard & 30% coconut, no superfatting. I scented it with sweet orange. Hubby grated it up, I combined it with some borax and washing soda. I used some diluted vinegar in the rinse cycle The loads came out nice and clean with a light orange scent. I am hooked!

    I've been lurking for a while, especially before I had made my first batch. I have enjoyed all the various topics I've seen discussed here. But now, since I've made a few batches, I am eager to jump in and post! I look forward to getting to know you all and sharing what's in the soap pot. :D
