    with lard soap I superfat at 5% with tallow superfatting it that low makes my skin feel like it is stretched so I go to six does anyone have a suggestion for superfatting bear tallow soap besides making a bar and trying it?

    My 2nd batch of Huckleberry Goat Milk Soap

    The first one that is pretty is the successful batch of 9 lbs, the second one that is ugly is my first batch of 18 lbs. :(. A lot of soap went to waste on that lesson! You can see the clumps of lye that didn't dissolve. You all told me about the split method. I have never had trouble before...
