What is the best fragrance oil ever?

I used to buy a fragrance from Bramble berry called Spiced Amber Ale. But, they discontinued it. (I had to take a break from soapmaking as I dislocated one side of my hip!). Anyway, luckily for me I had just purchased a pint. I still have about 4 oz. But, I would love to either find another...

    Clays colored with plants

This thread reminded me of sonething and I just had to comment! I total bombed a soap prior to Christmas. I decided to make a CP soap with Santa's Spruce scent. When I went to mix some Micas I accidentally used alcohol instead of oil! I didn't realize it until after I poured it into my soap...

    Aloe Vera powder

Someone may have already mentioned this... You could try dissolving your aloe powder in the water and then freezing it to cube or thick slush before stirring the lye into it Or you could try placing your mixing container in an ice water bath. This usually will reduce and sometimes eliminate the...

    Holiday decorations

We weren't able to decorate at home this year due to work schedules and upcoming birth of my grandson. However, I did get to work with the kids in our clinic. We made old fashioned dough ornaments and "stone sheep" with baking clay.
