    Thank you all for your helpful comments. I did put too much KOH into this batch the ratio should have been 4% KOH + 96% NAOH as the hydroxides. My 8% KOH might have been too much. It was a measuring error on my part. I use Soapcalc but just entered my numbers into SMF calc and they provide...

    I have them hanging in a mesh wash bag under a canopy. Are problems/issues with this? Will they cure faster like this over having them inside?

    Is isopropyl alcohol useful in hot process?

    New soaper. Not yet made any soap. I read iso alc can reduce Ash in cp and maybe other benefits. Is iso alc useful for hp soap at any phase?
