I really want to know more about scents base top and middle notes stuff but don't know how or where to look to get reading material anyone know where I should start? I don't even know the name of such a thing.

for about 8oz of lotion how much essential oil do I need to get a good scent going? (like when I walk by someone and light to medium scent can be smelled coming of me) would I just dump half the ~30ml bottles of my choice or should I get a dropper and add 5 to 10 drops of each oil?

just got some stearine from hobby lobby and was wondering if it will add the same effect like stearic acid in soap making, or is it different and I'm better off using stearic instead?

Has any one tried these three together as the only oils in your soaps? how creamy is the lather? I have left over castor and stearic but had to order the palmitic acid its gonna be about a week or two so I would like to know what to expect before it gets here.
