I’ve been making the Silverfox shave soap recipe. Great soap! High in stearic acid so it’s thick mashed potato consistency when finished it cools while molding and becomes unworkable. Is there anything I can do to make this soap pourable and easier to work with? More water? Thanks!

I have a few questions in regards to using fragrance oil. Is fragrance oil considered part of superfat? My thinking is that it’s unsaponified oil in the soap... same as superfat. If you put into the recipe calculator 5% superfat and it tells you 73 grams should part of that 73% be fragrance oil...

Looks like Hystrene 9718 is what we are looking for. 92% purity.
