    M&P soap feels tacky

    Does anybody feel like their M&P soaps are tacky in the shower? I’m getting my soap from Brambleberry. In the shower the soap feels tacky on the skin but when you’ve dried off skin feels nice. Just curious if that’s a property of certain M&P’s or if I’m doing something wrong. Seems to be more so...

    I’ve been having some issues with reheating my M&P soap when they become too think waiting for a layer to harden. I’m using the microwave but should I instead use a double boiler? For some reason when i have to reheat the soap it turns into hardened glue unless I really nuke it which I’m sure...

    When doing CP soaps how to you apply your mica? Powder straight into the batter or do you disperse it first with oil/rubbing alcohol/water? If using oil, do you take some oil from your batch so it’s not emulsified or do you just add some oil into a cup so that it is enough to become liquid...

    Not at all. I just experimented with a lye calculator and it seemed to produce a well rounded bar of soap.
