    Microwave or Double-Boiler For LBs?

    I have been using the double-boiler method for making lotion bars, can I use the microwave? I have seen some LB recipes that say "Do not microwave" and wondered if there is a reason for it. I microwaved a small batch for lip balm for my fiance and it turned out fine. Thanks!!

    Old Newbie from Michigan
