I'm about to make my 1st linen spray and I was hoping to reuse a febreez bottle I just finished with. I'm having trouble de-oderizing it. I've tried water mixed with rubbing alcohol, borax... Maybe I'm not using the right proportions or is it going to be impossible to get that smell out of the...

What are you mixing these with? I tried coffee or sea salt with evoo but didn't care for that. I love evoo as a night time moisturizer but not so much when I'm trying to exfoliate, kwim? And my cleanser is burts bees orange essence which is more like a gel consistency than a reg cleanser. Maybe...

Thanks! Yeah, that's pretty much what I ended up with--a thick lotion. But it melts and absorbs so quickly into the skin so I'm not complaining. ;) I think I'll check out my local rite aid for a cheap mixer. If not, I'll have to see what Wal-mart has.

I'm going to attempt my own linen spray using vodka & distilled water. Does anyone use FO in their linen sprays or does they need to strictly use EO?

So a thought occured to me. I'm about to make my first body butter & when referring to the butter, is it measured by weight and the oils by volume? Sorry I just want to make sure I do this right!

I'm a little confused as to when I add the soft oil and FO. I guess I've read one to many recipes! Do I melt the Shea, cool, add oil & whip or am i suppose to add the oils before I cool? I've also read recipes where you add the FO oil directly the the olive oil and other sites that say you add...

And my first FO oil purchase! I'm so excited. I ordered 16oz of organic shea butter, 1oz rose fo and 1oz vanilla buttercream fo. I can't wait to start my body butter addiction! ;) I'd love to be able to give them out as presents this holiday season!

What would be the best way to do that carebear? Should I still use a double boiler? Can I still add olive oil and a FO?
