    Anyone else into 3d Printing?

Thank you! And you could do them with corrugated plastic board as well, that is how I did my first scrapers.

    Anyone else into 3d Printing?

If you mean the last picture for the gingerbread house soap, the round disc for the door shape is used in a extruder gun, which my diy version is exactly a pvc pipe and you do put the disc in one end and push the clay through (with a modified caulking gun) and the soap (which at this stage is...

    Anyone else into 3d Printing?

I had not thought of it, I will check out Reddit next time! Thanks! I have used a 3D printed split pour cup (though is faster and easier to buy one), and made dividers and the divider holde (took forever to print, but I have used them multiple times). Also made a column oval. The...

True, sticky lavender FO for CP?

I like the one from Lone Star candle. I made a whole bunch of lavender soap around Christmas and have left overs, if you pm your address I can send you a sample, if you want; so you can decide before spending the money and time on a batch.

    Anyone else into 3d Printing?

I 3D print tools for soap making, either extruder discs, pull screens, dividers, piping tips, or stamps. Tinkercad has been invaluable, as I have not wanted to spend the money on the professional software yet. There is learning curve. I would recommend joining a fb group for the 3D printer...

    Brambleberry Sale on Trial Fragrances

This seemed like a good deal, until I discovered that their trial size is 0.50 oz. So at $2 for half an oz, It seems buying the 1.75 oz would be better for some fragrances like the lilac FO, which is $5.75 for 1.75 oz But it may work for the more pricey ones. Thanks for sharing though, I...

    Bluebonnet Fragrance Oil question

Thank you @dmcgee5034! Yes, I order from them from time to time. Being in Texas as well the products arrive quickly. Their fragrances have been mostly good and strong (I use 1 oz per lb of oils) there has been only one or two I did not like (Clean Cotton is one of them, too much like...

    Scrapbooking suppliers USA

I have bought cardstock paper and other supplies from Michaels. They have bulk pricing available for some items. Normally the one under their brand, Recollections.

    Dough Shears When Pressed

I have experienced that, but mostly with specific colors, like red. Sometimes that is the only color in the batch that acts up. You can condition it into submission, it won’t have the ideal texture though.

    Pillar candles

Do you sell your dipped candles? Curious as I was looking for some to buy made with beeswax. Not too happy with the ones I got bit they were the least expensive ones and are doing the job. They seem to have a cotton wick and can be hard to light

    What silicone to chose?

I use mold Star 15. However, I think it would not slide easily either against acrylic either. I have used it for column, embed, and small loaf molds. It is pricey though.

    Easter soaps - colors

Not adding anything to the color making question, this just reminded me of a video I watched, it explained that rabbits don’t eat carrots, and how the myth originated. Found it curious.

    Lemon Fragrance

I would stay away from lemon EO for bath and body products due to its photo toxicity, since it is mostly cold pressed.

    Best Peony Fragrance Oil

I haven’t tried this one myself, but Lone Star candle has the Yankee candle thope, it is soap sage but I don’t see soap reviews: Peony (type) Fragrance Oil I normally buy 1 oz tests when in doubt.

DIY Mini Immersion Blender using Acrylic Resin or Epoxy?

@Tammyfarms yes, I do! @Kcryss I think it is feasible to 3D print the bell part, if you can get the metal rod portion. Pm for measurements etc, if you want to give it a try. I don’t think a 3D printed rod would last long with the force and movement exerted on it. I use ABS filament for pull...

    Mica causing DOS?

I have always suspected the oxide pigments as DOS inducing (not sure if it is because oxide is in their name already?) so I think it is a possibility. However, I once made two soaps from the same batch, at the same time, and poured in the center same cavity molds. Only difference was the...

    Eco enzyme soap

I once made a video for a lye calculator I use, you can watch it here. Normally citric acid (or lemon juice instead instead of water in the lye solution) does decrease the effectiveness of the lye, so more is needed. I would not know how much acidity the eco enzyme would have though. However...

    silicone cup for lye solution?

I am with @katili, I have knocked down a lye solution that was in a silicone container, it was a mess to clean up

    Eco enzyme soap

The best thing would be to run the recipe through a lye calculator, (like soapmakingfriend.com) to see if it is lye heavy, put the amount of coconut oil you used and see how much lye it calls for, Then compare it to the amount of lye you used.
