It is mostly infused in olive oil. I want to use it for treating excema. If no benefits from orijinal oil wont survive after saponification, why do we use different oils in soapmaking then? Thanks for your answer, i will use 0.135 ratio then. That makes sense to me now

Do not use coconut oil more than 30%. Just an advice

Same white layer has occured at my first try as well. This happens when you pour it into mold without trace happened. When you get a thick trace and then pour it, that white layer wont appear anymore.

My kombucha soap recipe:

Cold process soap with olive oil 500 gr, palm oil 100 gr, sunflower oil 100 gr, black seed oil 100 gr, cacao butter 100 gr and kombucha tea. I have used one of the bars and it was great and bubbly. However, i haven't encountered something like this before

I mix Oils and lye solution at 60 celsius and works perfect for me. Then 15 minutes of stirring is enough for trace.
