Are there any dupes for Neutrogena Body Oil's scent?

I'll keep an eye out for you... save on scents has an awesome variety of dupes - even found my long-discontinued favorite BBW scent, magnolia blossom!! I'd try there for a Jergens dupe.

Are there any dupes for Neutrogena Body Oil's scent?

Actually it does! And I think I've nailed it - A 50/50 blend of BB Honeysuckle and Babys Breath came close, but the BB Pikake FO is as close to a dead ringer as I can hope for, considering. Gonna order it in bulk with my next BB box - beyond excited to try it; the sample I have now isn't enough...

Soleseife soap using soft oils... is it possible?

Yes, the plan is to make round soaps. I'll make the embeds and white base first, shred the base (so it looks like rice texture) and add to a less-white-tinted run for the main batch. Planning to hand paint on the "nori" with with m&p or a microbatch of tinted cp (I saw a tutorial but can't...

Can Sodium Lactate be added to FOs during prep?

Your videos were SOOO helpful! I'm totally gonna start adding my FO and disbursed colors to my oils. Do you find a big difference between oil-soluble TD and water-soluble TD? I have a bag of O-S, but wonder if it would be better to switch to W-S when I reorder...

Can Sodium Lactate be added to FOs during prep?

I was under the impression that FO needed to be added at trace - my assumption is because FO's can accelerate or cause ricing and you want to be sure the lye is properly emulsified before potentially speeding your batter up. Are there any other compelling reasons to wait until trace to add FOs...

Soleseife soap using soft oils... is it possible?

Hi all! Trying to formulate a recipe for a client's special request custom batch - he wants a soap that looks like sushi rolls, with as-authentic-as-possible ingredients. I've always got avocado and rice bran oils and I've already sourced salmon oil, but I still need hard oils, even though...

Are there any dupes for Neutrogena Body Oil's scent?

It's my boyfriend's absolute favorite and I have no idea how to recreate it for CP...

Can Sodium Lactate be added to FOs during prep?

I didn't know if it would incorporate into the oils alone... but geez, anything would help compared to forgetting it altogether!

Can Sodium Lactate be added to FOs during prep?

I'm still just having the darnedest time remembering to add sodium lactate to my lye liquid before soaping. Before I waste a couple ounces of fragrance oils experimenting, does anyone know of issues/problems that may arise from adding SL to your FO during prep instead of waiting to stir it...

Can you use Neutrogena Body Oil to make CP soap?

And the naoh value for sesame oil is .137/.138, and there's less of it by volume, so as long as I use a .143 substitute in the calculator it should be okay, then? I guess my second question becomes "How much hard oil must I have to balance it out with the NBO?" Obviously I want to use as much...

Can you use Neutrogena Body Oil to make CP soap?

Obviously it's a soft oil, so you would need to cut it with some harder ones like coconut and babassu, and I'm guessing the lovely fragrance wouldn't survive intact, but still... *If* one were gonna attempt it, could I use sesame oil in the calculator (with a healthy percentage of superfat to...

Can Sodium Lactate be added to CP soap at light trace?

I just tried a new recipe of my own devising for a coffee scented soap and (of course!), in the thick of things, I forgot to add the sodium lactate before combining my lye liquid and oils! I was at a very light trace when I realized my error and figured "aw, heck, what can it hurt?", so I put it...
