Looking for alternate for palm kernel oil

I'm looking for an oil that's good for sensitive skin. I usually use palm kernel oil, but it's getting too expensive, along with the environmental impacts. What are some good substitutes for it?

I think it may have. I decided to cut the sections with the large holes and see if the soap is usable after it sets for a while.

A lot of people use vanilla color stabilizer to ensure bright colors in their soaps. You may want to try this.

Weird Hole in the top of Goat Milk Soap

I don't have a camera with me, but this is what it appears like: The bottom 1/2th looks good, but when you go up, there appears to be a giant long hole in the middle, with some gooey stuff in the top portion of it.

    Post your Gripe

I've heard people substituting beef tallow for vegetable lard/shortening. Maybe you'd have success with that?

Alfa, do you have any beef tallow/lard or palm kernal flakes? There's a lot of substitutes for coconut oil.

    Lard for Sensitive Skin Soaps

Thanks, guys. c: I just want to make sure these soaps don't cause my customers any reactions. Edit: I just attempted my first soap with lard. I'll have one of my testers test it out to see if it works with sensitive skin.

    Post your Gripe

Well, did not expect my second post would be me gripping. This guy lives within a hour of me and he offered to sell me some beef tallow. However, he doubled the price, for gas. I don't see why he can't put it in a box, surround the tallow in blankets and send it to me! I can't shell out forty...
