I don't have a camera with me, but this is what it appears like: The bottom 1/2th looks good, but when you go up, there appears to be a giant long hole in the middle, with some gooey stuff in the top portion of it.

Hello, my main soap recipe uses beef tallow as the second highest oil. However, a friend of mine, who is vegan, can't use beef products as they break him out. Can you guys suggest me a vegan alternative for me to use in my soaps?

My recent batch of vanilla color stabilized soap was messed up because the person I bought it from did not specify it was made for melt and pour until I messaged them. Now, I'm without a source of vanilla color stabilizer. Any suggestions?

I've never seen any problem with using titanium dioxide in soaps.

I've heard people substituting beef tallow for vegetable lard/shortening. Maybe you'd have success with that?

Alfa, do you have any beef tallow/lard or palm kernal flakes? There's a lot of substitutes for coconut oil.

Well, did not expect my second post would be me gripping. This guy lives within a hour of me and he offered to sell me some beef tallow. However, he doubled the price, for gas. I don't see why he can't put it in a box, surround the tallow in blankets and send it to me! I can't shell out forty...
