    Just curious as to who no longer uses commercial made soap

    I haven't bought commercial soap for years, except laundry detergent, sometimes I purchase. It was alright when I had someone to grate it into flakes.

    My used cooking oil soap experiment

    I love to learn and you guys are a university. I make my household cleaning soap, which I don't sell. Don't know why, but I love the idea of using my used oil. A dumb question, what is ricing?

    What do you pack your soaps in for a show ?

    I'm using the under-the-bed storage containers with locking lids. I can fit 7 fragrances 10 each. They have coasters and they were about $14 each. I tend to take a lot of soap with me. I like the shoe box for separating the similar scents inside the container.

    What's the deal with expectations in soaping

    I don't use dyes or mica in my soap. I use the effects of Tumeric, paprika, and waiting til the last minute to add an oil, which I fold in. I get a variety of colors and opaque. Artistry and creativity can be anywhere.

    I live in the rural south and apparently grandma made soap and used it without curing. So I often get "I don't use that's homemade stuff. Burns like ____-.

    What soapy thing have you done today?

    I'm labeling, adding my new bath bar to my site, and packaging an order. I'm also getting ready to do a zap test.

    How to add Bentonite clay in shaving soap?

    I only use Bentonite clay in my shaving bar. Most of my soaps are hot process and the additives are blended in last. Makes for a slick, anti-razor bump shave.
