    Eeek! Does anybody actually use with this oil!

    I LOVE patchouli! I've made soaps and butters that have turned people on to patchouli. As someone else responded, Dark is the best. It's deep, creamy, balsamic and delicious. However, Light is funky, animalic and dank. Use light in small doses, blended. Dark can stand alone.

    New soapmaker! recipe help!

    Hi... It doesn't appear to be a drying recipe. However, beeswax might be the culprit. I recall that Nature's Garden did a blog post on using beeswax. They tested batches at varying % and shared results. Beeswax also (likely) speeds trace and it's possible that the batch needs more blending but...
