    Would this work? Mold liner

Our neighbours moved out a couple of weeks ago and I inherited many sheets of Coroplast corrugated plastic. Most of it will end up under the rabbit cages, but the smaller pieces aren't big enough. I was thinking the other night that they might be really good for lining molds - if I cut them...

    OH. MY.

Just came across this ad - http://london.kijiji.ca/c-buy-and-sell- ... Z245615411 How tempting is that?!?

    Puppies!

Well, one so far. :D Our labra-doodle, Libby, is in labour. I went to check on her this morning, to see if her ligaments were loose, and heard a squeal coming from inside her doghouse. She's now downstairs in a warm cozy whelping box and we're anxiously awaiting the next arrivals.

    Earthquake!

We had a mild earthquake here today about 1:40 pm. I was sitting on the couch and heard weird scritching noises, then the china cabinet started to rattle, then the couch started to move! Apparently the epicentre was up on the Ontario/Quebec border. They're saying it was a 5.5...

    Musings and rambles

I made some soap a while ago scented with lavender and patchouli. I like it very much and I've given it to some of my men friends with a certain amount of trepidation, thinking it might be a bit "feminine" - they love it! I gave four different bars to a friend last week, and met him at a party...

    Well, poot!

Made a batch of GM soap last week, scented with lavender/bergamot FO and a bit of patchouli EO to mellow it out. Tinted some green and did a swirl. It looked really nice when I took it out of the mold and sliced it, and the scent is wonderful. Tonight I went to turn over the bars and I...

Labelling laws for M&P - Canada?

Are they the same as for labelling CP soap? The reason I'm asking is I've been invited to sell soap at a "Faery Fest" next summer, and since I've only just started making CP soap, I don't feel that I'll be ready and comfortable enought to sell it by then. Also, I think that I could...

    Note to self

Line the mold before you start making soap! 'Cuz it's darned near impossible to do origami with rubber gloves on, especially when you're trying to do it in a hurry. Oh well, the soap looks good so far. Just the end slices will be a bit lumpy. Fresh goat's milk soap...

    So far, so good!

For those of you that don't read the introductions  , I just joined today after lurking for a while. I made my second batch of soap today. I attended a demo on CP soap back in February, got the nerve to try some a couple of months ago and loved it! A 3 lb batch, all vegetable oils...

    Lurking long enough

Hello all! I've been lurking on here for a while now, and decided I really ought to join, as I've just made my second(!) batch of soap. :D I live in beautiful SW Ontario on a 10 acre hobby farm. We have horses, chickens, geese, ducks, sheep and goats! Yep, it all started with goats...
