Hi Amanda when I make balls I shred with a grater and soften slightly in the microwave (full power for a couple of mins), then its really each to roll anysize balls. ive never tried with a melon ball thing but that could work too although Im not sure it would be very even.

That might work but I would be worried that the FO would not mix evenly

My Gm soaps are the best sellers and I TOTALLY LOVE THEM! so fantastic to lather and such a great feel on the skin, if you can get over the colour problems I really think its the best route and beats plain water every time... just use frozen GM.

Depends on how you do it but I would say it has to be HP every time

Also remember anything with vanilla is a b**ch and can really mess up any lovely oil combination! its usually so quick to set, you have to be an olympic athlete to catch up with trace and tramp it down into the mold :x

Hey really make sure that your Gm soap is cured, it still weaps for a longtime after making, or feels a little damp at least, I reckon that if you shrink wrap it would have a tendancy to go mouldy if you dont let it have air - at least 6+ weeks

bnky I know what you mean about citrus, have you tried Lemon Myrtle eo? its fab, strong citrus scent and a real keeper in CP, honest, I cant make enough!!

Im the same - dont use any preservatives but keep at least one bar from every batch - its amazing how they change over time - and I mean months!!
