    Hi all. I changed my LS recipe to include quite a higher rate of Olive Oil, but after it being lovely and clear it has now clouded. The recipe change happened in summer and all was great. I diluted some paste and left some in a container to sit and it is now showing as cloudy. I am wondering if...

    Tiny bumps on cut soap face

    ----------- They could be stearic spots, fat if milks were used ,from the cutter , not blended enough if using clay or such, may have needed more sitting time if not lye ( lye will be grainy ) Really hard to tell without photo, you maybe able to smooth them over as it could just be cosmetic...

    When & why do I need to place my mold in the freezer?

    Just be aware that if put in the freezer it will thaw after taken out. Will be very soft... Leave it sitting on the bench for a few hours ( sometimes longer ) still in the mould. I use to use the freezer but prefer the fridge now as i do not gel many batches.

    Oil seeping out of some of my CP and HP soaps

Sometimes the oil or such can go back in depending on the amount, can be caused by not stiring/blending in enough before the pour or an excess... As they are curing just give them a good wipe over and leave them to...
