Unfortunately, people are ignorant to real handmade soap. They see a high priced plain bar of soap instead of a bar that's great for their skin and not full of detergents and chemicals. I've been there, I've had to compete with over-scented brightly colored synthetic soaps while my soaps are...

Thanks Laurie. All I have left to do is take better pictures. I'm going to take all my soaps to a nearby river dam and take pictures of the soaps on a big rock with the water rushing out of the dam in the background. :D

I looked it up and did see that it can be dangerous in homemade products. Why do so many soap makers use it then...

How is it dangerous? There are LOTS of soap makers that sell soaps with bitter almond EO in them. I'm not using FOs anymore.

Ground orange peels, honey, french clay, ground leaves (in my eucalyptus soap I use ground eucalyptus leaves), cinnamon, anise, and so on.

I use nothing but natural colorants. I don't have a clue why people use anything other than natural colorants.

I finished it!!! It only took me ALL DAY LONG! I like the way it looks now. I changed the look of the pages when you click on a soap. I like it much better. Now I have to get soaping, a recent wholesale order nearly wiped out my stock and I still have retail orders coming in regular...

Thanks. I'm planning on taking my soaps down to a river and take more natural, sunny, brighter pictures. The pictures I have now I took in the shade in my front yard.

The smell me things are Cinnamon Scented Putka Pods and Rose Hips....potpourri. I buy the Putka Pods and Rose Hips in bulk and scent them with Cinnamon FO.

I dont like stuff in my soap with lots of syllables...is that stuff all o.k. to use?? LOL me either...that's why I make my own from scratch. I know exactly everything that goes into my soap and so do my customers.
