    Salt Bars With Turmeric

    Hi, I just made 4 salt bars using 50% pomace and 50% palm oil. I used turmeric powder of cooking grade and powdered sea salt. In the future, I will try to use juice of turmeric root and see how it works. After the soap set, the turmeric lost its color.

    Has anyone tried making soap using mustard oil? Mustard oil is used for cooking in Northern India. It is also used as a massage oil because it has heat generating properties.     I have prepared 100% coconut oil with rosemary oil. The soap is awesome. I too am partial to 100% coconut oil soap. The soap lathers a lot and cleans well.
