    Bath Cookies?

Has anyone made a bath cookie? My hubby bought me a couple from a farmer's market, and I stupidly threw away the package when they were gone :( It was called a honey glazed oatmeal and goat milk bath cookie. They were sooo yummy in the bath. They had a glazing over them that melted, and then...

    Yesterdays Soaping Adventures

They are all beautiful. How do you cut your rounds? Pie slices? I have some things that would work well as round molds, but I was not quite sure how I'd do the cutting. YOur slices all look lovely with the distinctive tops!

    "Room temperature" method

I worried about this at first too. Now, as recommended in Smart Soapmaking (Anne Watson), I just get my oils and lye to somewhere between 90 and 110 degrees. The lye might be 110 and the fats might be 90 - it works. You don't have to be exact in my experience. I find that if I put my fats in...

    Cleaning out the Soap Room

Ya know, I haven't even been soaping very long and I have already accumulated a ridiculous amount of soap. I don't have any coworkers to give it to tho since I telecommute. I've got tons, but yet I want to still make more and more and more - craziness!

My bars are anywhere between 3.5 oz and 5.5 oz depending on the size/shape. The first 2 here are around 3.5 oz, the cherrys are 4 oz. :)

    A few recent soaps :)

I'm glad to hear that you like the scent! I really like it so far, but I read somewhere that it turns funky after curing for a while, so we will see :)

    A few recent soaps :)

I used Labcolors cherry I believe. I put to much in without knowing, which is why it is so bright, but I like it. Will see how it turns out after a cure :)
