    I made a mistake (again)

I had been planning a garden-type soap and so I made some soap dough flowers and roses To place on top. The flowers have cured HARD. Mindlessly I made my loaf and then started placing the flowers Willy Nilly on top without looking at my notes. (Pics attached). I set the batch aside and went to...

Different milks in cold process soap?

I normally make cold process soap and have tried goat milk only a handful of times. However, what are the thoughts on horse milk soap?? We breed standardbred horses so I do have access to horse milk, but I’m not sure how it would be accepted in general. Any thoughts or experience with this?

    Thoughts?

Hello fellow soapers, I have been asked to come up with a soap for our horses. I know that the PH of their skin is approximately 7 - 7.4. So my question is do you think that a cold process soap's PH can be lowered enough for safe use for my herd. I also have access to horse milk (we breed...

    Goatmilk Soap packaging

Hello, I just had a question regarding packaging of goatmilk soap. I have read somewhere that you shouldn't package goatmilk soap in plastic only something that breathes? If so, what is the reasoning for this? Does it go rancid or moldy? I have looked on this forum and can't seem to find...
