Soap For Me :) After all the soapmaking for the holidays, I decided to make a batch just for me. I made a shea-heavy soap scented with gardenia and used Mad Micas Hot Man Tin Roof, Guava Lava, and Snow White. I even dusted the top with some copper. It made me very happy and now I can't wait...

I can obsess about colors for weeks before I decide. But when I'm really in a bind I search color palettes on pinterest and then I can choose or at least narrow down my choices.

Totally obsessed. I'm at 3 batches of cp a week. I don't sell and I'm single with no kids, so you can imagine how much I give away. But I love opening my door and smelling all the wonderful scents. I love acting the "mad scientist" and seeing how new colors, infusions, and scents turn out in...

My mistake, today... Had a great idea to use a funnel pour mistake for embeds and fix it into a beautiful new loaf, but... 1. Didn't use enough TD 2. Forgot fragrance, again 3. Misjudged amount for base, too little :( 4. Soaped too soon, should have waited for more of a pudding texture...

So the heat won't "melt" the embeds?

Thanks guys, the recipe said to do add the butters after mixing lye and oils. I only add fragrance and colors after. I didn't really check the recipe until I already poured into mold.

Hi guys! So I used butters tonight for the first time and didn't realize I was supposed to add the butters after the oils and lye solution was already blended. It seems ok, but... Has anyone else had this experience?
