    I just made 2 batches of soap using DSS. I was nervous, so I only used 1T dissolved in my lye/water to start. Both batches turned out great (so far). I increased the amount of coconut oil, superfatted to 10% and added lanolin and goat's milk for extra moisturizing properties. The bars set up...

    Soap consistency

    I'm no expert, but I'm pretty certain that it's the oils. I just had the exact same thing happen to me. One was more creamy and opaque and the other was extremely oily and wet and translucent. It's been about 5 days now and the one with the higher olive oil content has started to turn opaque...

    I used a mix of pink, blue, and red ultramarines and oxides. Is it me or do they cause the mix to start setting up faster? Thanks Tanya!!

    This is the first time that I was able to get a decent swirl ontop. For some reason I still can't get those swirls to show up throughout the entire loaf. They just disappear. :cry:

    Shipping whipped body butter

    I get these liners from wholesalesuppliesplus.com. You just press them on the opening of the jar and let them sit for a few hours. They've been a lifesaver for me.
