Sorry food related wating to put in cupcakes

Hi - I am in Sydney Australia and am trying to find a FO that is sweet smelling but does not contain vanilla so soap does not discolour. Any one has a suggestions. Thank you in advance.

Thank you all for your responses. In next recipe will decrease castor oil an see how that goes, and not use a preservative. Might be able to do some swirling now. Not humid live in Sydney Australia. With the sugar in the above recipe, how much should I use?

Do I have to put optiphen plus preservative in bar soap. Each time I put in it tracing oils super fast???? Have made a few soaps but when cured they then appear oily to the touch. Not overly oily but just a bit wondering if this is normal or how can I combat the oily residue only to touch...

Thank you all for your information. Liquid soap came out ok. Not quite clear but quite useable. Now trying to work out percentage rates not a mathematician so hard to get head around. Will keep on reading.

Hi -have just made my first batch of liquid soap. A few questions please. When do I incorporate glycerin into soap. Tried putting in with lye to dissolve (didn't work). Also, do people use citric acid instead of borax to neutralize? Oh, and can you overcook soap.

Fragrance from Aussie Soap Supplies... their fragrances mostly come from Brambleberry nice smell to it..

Thanks Irish lass and Fuzz Juzz. I am getting the feeling that colouring soaps is a bit of an art form as colour you put in is not always the colour in two or three days or in a week or two. Will need to keep very good notes on colour used with what recipe etc

No used olive oil which I think is a mixture of extra virgin and olive oil. Have used pomance oil and I feel does look just as yellow out of tin but stick blends whiter i think..

In soap I did before this one used micas but they morphed- green in some spots that were blue and some orange where it was pink, ont too bad just here and there mostily stayed blue and pink well for now anyway. I'm pretty sure they are for cold process (bought from Aussie Soap Supplies) so...
