It's only 3 lbs. of oil. I'd pitch it or grate it up for laundry soap. I don't know where you came up with 4.9 oz. of lye for that recipe but that wouldn't have been nearly enough and you would have ended up with a batch of super soft soap with so little lye. You should always run a new recipe...
