    Im going to guess that it was the fo/eo that started to seize the soap and the colorant was left to cruise without being part of the soap party :( The only issue ive had with putting dry/powdered colorant directly into soap batter is that sometimes it can be speckled if not incorporated...

    it also depends on the oils that you use and the room temp/environment.. the hot lye would melt some hard oils/butters..but if they are BIG chunks you may have an issue of the oils/butters staying solid and not melting especially if the room is cool.. I do room temp CP and I breakup my...

    I too wait til the VERY last minute to wrap them..theres still a chance and shrinkage but VERY minimal :)

    I mention it all too.. distilled water(or whatever liquid that I use) and all the oils and butters as well as the sodium hydroxide and lastly fragrance and color(if I use them) I post them from greatest to least amounts..

    beer soap..best way to have your beer and NOT get drunk :)

    it actually has TONS of bubbles..I LOVE it!! I have another one curing that I used Samuel Adams cherry wheat with cherry almond fragrance..OMG!! IanT..if you wanted to eat these bars..you'll totally want to eat that one!! :D

    Oregon Trail Order

    I am currently on a search for some awesome strawberry..its sort of a 'mission' that I chose to accept :D I have BCN-strawberry cheesecake & strawberry jam and I have used MMS-wild strawberry:its alright..I am NOT dazzled but its alright.. I cant wait to soap the other 2 though..

    this one was scented with sandalwood..I used half water half beer.. this one was scented with some 'manly' scent as my 12 yo puts it :) this one is full beer as the liquid.. [/img]
