    Coffee soap

It was grounds after the coffee was made. Unused the coffee as lye water and added the grounds from it after. I don't think I added too much by the looks of it but I will have to see in a few weeks. I also made sure to grind it a lot so the peices were smaller and smoother

    Coffee soap

It doesn't really smell like coffee. Just plain soap. I'm hoping the grinds will make is scratchy but I haven't tried it.

    Perfume in lotion?

Thanks for the article. I didn't add any to my cream but maybe next time I will leave see perfume sitting out to let the alcohol evaporate and then add it. I don't really care if it discolors it. Thanks!

    Perfume in lotion?

The recipe. But leave out fragrance oils and switch coffee butter for shea or cocoa butter

    Perfume in lotion?

I'm going to make some lotion and I can't seem to find a fragrance oil I like or an eo combo. I seem to be really picky. But I have a few perfumes I like. Could I put my perfume in the lotion or would the alcohol content ruin the recipe? Thanks for your input!

    Coffee soap

Usually I just use coffee in my morning grind soap but since I already had some to sell and wanted something different to put out on the table I put grinds in it this time. Lol. I seem to be having trouble posting. Here is the pic

    Activated charcoal hockey pucks

Realistically, all of my soaps would sell better if I added fragrance. I just prefer to make all natural soaps. I don't like essential oils either. They scare me. I'm always afraid someone will have a reaction and you have to know just how much to use. Plus they are expensive

    Activated charcoal hockey pucks

It sells well compared to my other soaps but in general I don't have a lot of sales. I think mostly people go for the activated charcoal. I thought it would be more appealing. I think it's super cute. Th recipe is awesome though

    Activated charcoal hockey pucks

This is my favorite recipe. 22% cocoa butter and fragrance free. It's hard to tell in the picture but the edges have a little criss cross pattern just like a hockey puck.

    Cutting hot process

I made a batch of hot process castile last night. It's been about 16 hours since I put it into the mold. For cold process I usually wait 24 hours to cut. Do I need to wait that long for hot process, Will it make a difference?

    Will my soap brown?

I made an ambitious 3! Batches of soap today. By the third batch I ran out of the measuring cups I use to measure and mix my water and lye. So I grabbed this bowl that I thought was stainless steal. I finished making the soap. This one was hot process and went to wash the bowl and noticed a...

    I made this soap stamp

The evening times book up quickly but day times are usually free. I usually have to book an evening time a week in advance but a day time I just show up and no one is there
