    Closing shop - transferring/selling recipes?

I've decided that I'm going to close the soapmaking chapter in my life. I let the people on my mailing list know, and a few people actually asked me if I'd be selling my recipes to another shop so they could continue to purchase. Has anyone had experience with closing up shop - and...

    Silicon Molds

Most soap suppliers online will carry them. Be careful though, some will have a max recommeded temperature for the soap to pour (ex. 150 degrees).

What to mix micas and oxides in?

You can just mix it in with the regular amount of FO you would use, and then pour the FO into the batch. :) That way, you aren't adding any extra oils.

Shave set materials - looking to sell ASAP

Krissy, thanks for your help with the image links! Sorry for the bits and pieces of info, I post from work and home. I know definitely the bowls will accommodate a 3" diameter soap. The metal bowl is a bit more snug, and the wood bowl maybe more like 3 1/4" inch in diameter. The wood bowl...

There was nothing to be missed. I did say that "Prices are listed only to recoup my losses." I also said I would hear offers.

Shave set materials - looking to sell ASAP

Nearly the same cost as supplier - it's basically the supplier's price plus the shipping it cost to get it to me. Beyond that, no profit. I meant "match your supplier" not in terms of cost, but actual item. I'll post pictures tonight when I'm home.

Shave set materials - looking to sell ASAP

If you're looking to match your supplier, you can PM me your supplier and item. Listing them here would simply just cut me out and I'm really trying to sell these. But, I'm happy to disclose once they're sold. PMming me would also be faster, as I get a notification on my phone and could...

Shave set materials - looking to sell ASAP

I made big plans to bump up the shave set sector of my market in the last month, and along with other factors, I decided that I can't use them. I am looking to sell them IN THE NEXT FEW DAYS - if I can't sell them here, I need to return them within the 30 day mark. Prices are listed only to...

    Beer in MP soap?

Yeah, and I think even with 1 tbsp per pound of soap, it won't be enough to scent the soap. Hmm.

    Beer in MP soap?

Maybe cure was the wrong word... dry? I actually called the soap base manufacturer, and they said it was fine to add at the same usage rate as a fragrance oil (but not both at max percentage rates), you just had to let it dry longer before wrapping. Where would you get dry hops?

    Beer in MP soap?

Has anyone ever tried adding beer to MP? I'm curious of the outcome/scent before I go out, buy beer, etc Apparently, you can add beer to MP soap, but it requires more curing time.

    Watermelon- who's got your favorite?

I can only recommend NOT going with the one at WSP (though I don't think you'll shop there anyway lol). It took a really long time to sell, customers just weren't into it.
