put a cp batch in the oven days later?

I have a batch that I don't think I retained enough heat after the pour and it's not setting up or curing the way this recipe normally does for me. i'm thinking it's because I haven't made it since winter and i'm not doing a good enough job keeping it hot. I read about putting it in the oven...

    yogurt with lye?

hey all I want to give a yogurt bar a try! I have some yogurt frozen into ice cube trays, some diluted with water, some just yogurt. I figured I'd do it like I do goats milk, add the lye to the cubes slowly. But looking online couldn't find anything too helpful. Some say to just add yogurt in at...

yeah I wasn't expecting any negative feedback. I do make soap at home. all the time. A great opportunity!

This post offers no advice or discussion BUT a wonderful thing happened to me today! I was able to meet with a local very established soap maker in my town! My town is not known for it's diversity or organic type thinking so meeting someone like this was great in and of it's itself. She sells...

    any fragrance advice

i'm sure this has been asked and answered but I had trouble searching for this in the forum. is there any real way to make my scent last without using fragrance oils? is there such a thing as 100% natural fragrance oils that are different than essential oils? I've also tried coffee and tea...

I used coffee instead of water and cinnamon bark EO and the smell was so overwhelming at first but after the cure it's a nice pleasant smell. the anticipation of waiting for the final result is still a killer for me! must mediate for patience!

    couple of soapy questions

I have a couple of questions for the more seasoned soapers here first I love using herbal tea in place of water in my soap, and while i'm still working out the most efficient way to buy my essential oils I had the thought to add the crushed tea leaves at trace before the pour in hopes it would...

    cost effective and reliable

I use so much! I have been reading up on making my own, but seems like a huge project. Scary stuff about unreliable oils all over the net. What the best medium range priced oils anyone's used? :)
