@ Gentleman, I do agree with you somewhat, but what happened to people learning from their mistakes? There's a way you can convey something to someone without coming across as insensitive or rude. That's all I have to say about this subject!!! I'm not here to fight other people's battles.

Hi Nibbie, yes I think you get just under 2 cups of soap from 1 Lb which would be equivalent to 8.7 Ounces. Hope it helps, I'm a newbie too, but I've done a ton of reading!!

I 110 % agree with you sweetie. Nothing is natural when it has been chemically altered. LYE being on the top of my list too!!! Lye is the main active ingredient in all soaps. I prefer the words artisan or just handcrafted.

I think I'd just list it as fragrance too. I'm also curious as to the measurements of both essential oils VS. fragrance oils. Do you have to use less of a fragrance oil or more when working with M&P bases? Thanks guys!!!

Dibbles I got my Hemp, Shea, and Goats milk base a few weeks ago from Natures Garden. I haven't used any of my bases yet, but I'll report back when I do. I'm also wondering since the topic is being discussed, what do others add to a M&P ( when they feel it kinda inferior) to make it more...

I saw a video where a guy used Isopropyl alcohol to dissolve his Mica's for M&P. That's what I plan on doing also.

I did a very long lengthy research trying to locate this oil. The only thing that came close to it was on WSP and it's Crafters Choice™ Pear Quince Fragrance Oil 780 not an essential oil. I ordered some and will let you guys know what I think.

Essential oil Can someone tell me where I can find Quince essential oil? I've searched everywhere with no success. It must be pretty costly to be this hard to locate!
