    Four weeks or six weeks?

The best thing you can do is use a bar at 2 weeks, 3 weeks, 4 weeks, and so on. This will let you see the dramatic impact a good cure can have on your soap. It is a real learning experience and a bit fun. Robert

using found red beach clay in soap

If you really want to use it (I would as it is a good selling point) you could always have it tested. I can get things tested here in California for around $30.00. I think it would be a good investment. People like local and natural. Robert

    Cucumber Soap

It turned out really nice. I am going to try other veggie waters next year. Carrot, tomatoes ( green & red), beet and some others. I can use my vitamin to turn just about any veggie in to water. What do you think is best raw or cooked? Robert

I was canning cucumber relish this last weekend and noticed a large amount of juice coming out of the ground cucumbers so I made soap with the juice. I used 100% cucumber juice in place of water, the lye turned it orange but it worked great. I now have a nice batch of lightly orange cucumber...

    Sea water soap

I never thought is using aquarium ocean mix. That is actually a good idea as you can make it with distilled water, and control how briny it is and you don't have to worry about impurities and contamination. Thank you I like that. Robert
