    In the collect your supplies section you may want to add a scale to weigh your ingredients (or something to that effect) and some means of measuring temperature since it is noted in instructions to make that the temp should be 120. Looks pretty good though!

    Trying to learn liquid soap making

    On scenting I have found that a high vanilla content will thicken. Orange EO causes separation. I generally use OO, CO, and a small amount of castor oil in my LS. I do warm a little as I find the fragrance blends easier. A little clouding has been the norm for me but it clears out in a few hours

    No, I haven't waited two months...I made a recipe using the oven method, after it cooled it was more like a pliable bar of soap, too hard to whip (phenol test was good). I added enough water to keep it somewhat thick and tried whipping. It whipped up pretty decent, then I let it sit a few days...

    I typically make liquid soap and have been tinkering with whipped cream soap. It is different...it is a dual lye mix and a lot of stearic acid. I don't have it quite perfected but have made some progress!

    sure! 41 oz EVOO, 5 oz CO , 10 oz KOH/30 oz water, I use a 33% borax solution at dilution

    Vitamin E perhaps? I make a mild liquid soap similar to Bronner's (not as thin), CO is less than 10% of oils, the rest is EVOO and the result is a very softening soap (great face wash). If I have to guess, hemp and jojoba would be a very small percentage as well. Maybe the Vitamin E adds that...
