Yikes. The Mediterranean fig looks awesome except that it is not Phthalate free. Trying to stay away from that in my products. Still open for more recommendations. I used to use Ginger fig from SC, but they discontinued it. I was so warm and yummy.

Does NG have anything like a clean linen or cotton FO? You could try a pale blue base with white swirls.

I need to make a soap for a Fall themed baby shower. I want the bar to end up a cream color and I am adding dried calendula petals. Any non floral suggestions that won't accellerate trace? I am planning to wrap the bars with a raffia bow with a mini fall leaf tag attached. Was thinking...

I have the one from plowboyz on etsy. don't like the beveler attachment, but the planer is awesome. Made from PVC lumber.

Until recently, I thought the gel phase was necessary. I am learning otherwise, but am apprehensive of avoiding it altogether. Had to put an orange clove batch in the freezer recently, and I am amazed that saponification took place despite the cold temps.

I use the sandalwood from MMS. Really nice like the scent used by Caswell Massey. Try adding a little sandalwood powder for color and a little boost to scent.

Hey Patrick, Being the FOHO that you are, have you used any of these Sweetcakes FO's in CP soap: Olive Blossom, Fall Foliage, or Fall Harvest? I didn't see any of them listed on the FO spreadsheet, so I'm wondering how they behave. Any input would be gratly appreciated!

Ally, I just started buying lye from bulkapothecary.com . They are in Aurora, OH. Shipping is cheap for me since I live near Pittsburgh. Not sure to ship to LA. They are fast and I love the lye, castor oil, palm oil. Hope this helps.
